In the glass industry, high purity industrial potassium nitrate can be used in the production of glassware, playing the role of temperature-resistant hardening glass material, and can also be used as a glass clarifying agent.

Precautions for storage and transportation of high purity industrial potassium nitrate:
Before transporting high-purity industrial potassium nitrate, it needs to be packaged. However, in the packaging, the use of packaging materials is the need to pay attention:
1, two layers of plastic bags or a layer of plastic bags outside the sack, plastic woven bags, latex bags;
2. Composite plastic woven bag outside plastic bag (polypropylene triad bag, polyethylene triad bag, polypropylene diad bag, polyethylene diad bag);
3, threaded glass bottles, plastic bottles or plastic bags outside the ordinary wooden box;
4, threaded mouth glass bottles, iron cap pressure mouth glass bottles, plastic bottles or metal barrels (cans) outside the ordinary wooden box.
In addition, high purity industrial potassium nitrate in the transport, should also pay attention:
1, railway transportation should be in strict accordance with the "dangerous goods transport rules" in the dangerous goods loading table for loading;
2. Shipment separately during transportation, and ensure that the container is free from leakage, collapse, fall or damage during transportation;
3, transport vehicles should be equipped with the corresponding variety and quantity of fire equipment;
4. High-purity industrial potassium nitrate is strictly prohibited from being mixed with acids, combustibles, organic substances, reducing agents, spontaneous combustion items, and flammable items in case of wet conditions;
5, transportation speed should not be too fast, not forced overtaking;
6. Before and after loading and unloading of transport vehicles, they should be cleaned and washed, and it is strictly prohibited to mix organic matter, flammable and other impurities.
