Dilute nitric acid is oxidizing and corrosive, so it is very dangerous to people. Only splashing on the skin can cause serious burns. The skin will slowly turn yellow after contact with nitric acid, and then the yellow epidermis will peel off (after contact with nitric acid and protein, it will cause yellow protein reaction and degeneration). Therefore, dilute nitric acid in the use of the process in strict accordance with the instructions for the use of operation.

Therefore, dilute nitric acid in the use of the process in strict accordance with the instructions for the use of operation. Dilute nitric acid shall be stored in a cool and ventilated warehouse, away from kindling and heat sources. The warehouse temperature shall not exceed 30 ℃, and the relative humidity shall not exceed 80%. Keep the container sealed and store it separately from reducing agents, alkalis, alcohols, alkali metals, etc., and avoid mixed storage. The storage area should be equipped with leakage emergency treatment equipment and suitable storage materials.
Precautions for the use of dilute nitric acid:
1. Closed operation, pay attention to ventilation;
2, the operation as far as possible mechanization, automation;
3, the operator must be specially trained, strictly abide by the operating procedures;
4. It is recommended that the operator wear a self-priming filter type gas mask, wear rubber acid and alkali resistant clothing, wear rubber acid and alkali resistant gloves;
5, the workplace is strictly prohibited smoking, away from fire, heat source;
6, to prevent the leakage of steam into the workplace air;
7. Avoid contact with reducing agents, alkalis, alcohols and alkali metals;
8, when handling to light light unloading, to prevent packaging and container damage;
9, equipped with the corresponding variety and quantity of fire equipment and leakage emergency treatment equipment;
10. The emptied container may leave harmful substances;
11. When diluting or preparing the solution, the acid should be added to the water to avoid boiling and splashing.
In addition, dilute nitric acid in transit, the application of stainless steel or glass fiber reinforced plastic tanker or storage tank transport or storage, a small amount of acid-resistant ceramic jar or glass bottle packaging, each jar net weight 33-40kg, and the use of gypsum sealing, packaging should have obvious "corrosive goods" logo. Direct contact with skin is prohibited for personal protection, and acid and alkali resistant gloves, masks and other labor protection articles shall be worn during operation.
